Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Assistant Head of Legal & HR Department (Vieng Chan, ID-16762)
- Provide legal guidance to the company on various matters including labor law, contracts, compliance, and dispute resolution.
- Review, draft, and manage contracts (labor agreements, service contracts, business partnerships, etc.), ensuring all terms comply with applicable laws.
- Assist in managing legal disputes and liaising with external legal counsel when necessary.
- Ensure the company’s operations comply with local, regional, and national legal requirements, including labor laws, tax regulations, health and safety, and environmental standards.
- Oversee the preparation and maintenance of legal documentation, ensuring all documents are properly filed and accessible.
- Assist in recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates to meet organizational needs.
- Support the development of employee policies and manage employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires and manage offboarding for departing employees.
- Help organize training programs and employee development activities to improve staff skills and performance.
- Assist in the administration of payroll, benefits, and other employee welfare programs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure all HR documentation is up to date and in compliance with legal requirements.
- Oversee general administrative tasks, ensuring the department runs efficiently, including document handling, correspondence, and office supplies management.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of legal and HR processes across the company.
Requirement
- Male or Female, under 45 years old.
- University degree in Law or Human Resources.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal and human resources field, preferably in the energy industry or related industries, with at least 3 years in a similar position.
- Proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing)
