1. Accounting Department Management

• Manage and supervise all accounting operations and daily activities of the accounting department.
• Monitor workflow efficiency, provide guidance to subordinates, and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Control and verify company assets and accounting records.
• Coordinate with banks, tax authorities, auditors, suppliers, and customers regarding accounting and financial matters.
• Establish departmental objectives and ensure effective team performance.

2. Financial Closing & Cost Control

• Supervise monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities, including cash flow management and asset reconciliation.
• Monitor financial performance and provide timely updates to management.
• Control company expenditures and recommend cost-saving initiatives to improve financial efficiency.
• Ensure all accounting data is accurately and timely updated in the SAP system.

3. Compliance & Internal Control

• Ensure all accounting books and financial records are accurate, timely, and compliant with Vietnamese accounting standards and regulations.
• Monitor compliance with tax reporting requirements and accounting policies.
• Ensure all financial activities are conducted legally and in accordance with company procedures.

4. Financial Reporting

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support management by identifying financial risks and proposing preventive actions.
• Ensure all reports are completed accurately and submitted on time.
• Prepare reporting packages for the Singapore subsidiary and the parent company in Japan.

5. Financial Analysis & Forecasting

• Monitor and analyze the company’s financial performance and cash flow.
• Support the Finance Director in short-term financial forecasting and budgeting activities.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve business performance.

6. Team Management & Training

• Lead, coach, and develop accounting staff.
• Provide guidance on accounting procedures, internal controls, and company policies.
• Enhance the accounting team’s professional knowledge and operational capabilities.

7. Other Duties

• Perform other tasks within the scope of the role as assigned by management.

• Male/Female, 35-45 years old
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Chief Accountant Certificate is mandatory.
• Good command of English communication and reporting skills.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Chief Accountant in manufacturing companies.
• Strong preference for candidates from electrical cabinet manufacturing, project-based manufacturing, electrical equipment, or mechanical manufacturing industries.
• Experience working with SAP system is required.
• Experience handling reporting for overseas subsidiaries or foreign parent companies is preferred.
