Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Coating Engineer (Industrial Coating, $1050, ID 21547)
- Develop and implement technical standards and procedures for anti-corrosion treatment and industrial coating systems for international projects.
- Review and evaluate client coating specifications, technical requirements, and surface preparation standards.
- Supervise and control the quality of surface preparation and coating application processes, ensuring compliance with project specifications and international standards.
- Analyze coating defects, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to resolve technical issues in heavy industrial projects.
- Calculate paint consumption and material requirements accurately to support project execution and cost control.
- Collaborate closely with the Technical Manager and Division Director to ensure project quality and the successful implementation of coating activities.
Requirement
- Male/ Female <40 years old
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Naval Architecture/Shipbuilding, Materials Engineering, or other related engineering disciplines.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial coating engineering, preferably in wind tower, shipbuilding, heavy steel structures, or heavy industry.
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation standards (ISO 8501, SSPC/NACE) and industrial coating systems, including Epoxy, Polyurethane, and Zinc-rich coatings.
- Good English communication skills, especially for technical discussions and documentation.
