Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested manufacturing company, now looking for a Deputy General Manager (Garment, Open For Expats And Vietnamese, $10.000, ID15145):
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Operations & Production Oversight
- Take full accountability for the overall production and operation of multiple group-owned garment factories both domestically and internationally.
- Optimize production capacity, lead times, quality control, cost management, and operational efficiency while ensuring strict factory compliance.
2. Standardization & Lean Transformation
- Establish and implement unified process technology standards and production management systems across the group.
- Lead the execution of Industrial Engineering (IE) lean improvements, production line balancing, 6S on-site management, and the transition toward Smart Manufacturing.
3. Cross-Border Factory Coordination
- Coordinate the management of overseas facilities to ensure standardized operations and performance.
- Directly monitor implementation and resolve critical bottlenecks, including production capacity backlogs and workforce optimization.
4. Data-Driven Management

Develop and implement data-driven production control mechanisms to achieve standardized, transparent management of output, workflows, and personnel allocation.
5. Leadership & Performance Improvement

Mentor and manage Factory General Managers and Directors to drive cost reduction, enhance efficiency, and ensure timely delivery through a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirement
- Male/Female. Age: 30-45 years old
- Graduated from College or higher
- Have 8 years in the garment industry, with 5 years working in equivalent positions at garment factories for Japanese brands or processing factories for large brands such as Adidas, Nike, etc.
- Open to Vietnamese and foreign candidates who have worked in Vietnam for 5 years
- Fluent in Chinese anh English
- Extensive experience within the Japanese garment industry is mandatory.
- Proven track record of managing multiple large-scale garment factories, specifically with experience managing Uniqlo woven/fabric factory operations.
- Deep expertise in garment manufacturing processes, on-site management, and lean production methodology.
