Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company currently recruiting for the position of Design Engineer (Packaging Process, $800, ID 20013):
- Design packaging solutions for products, including carton boxes, pallets, wooden crates, steel frames, PE packaging, vacuum sealing, moisture protection, etc.
- Design supporting materials such as trays, packaging jigs, spacers, and foam (EPE, EPS, etc.)
- Arrange and position products within cartons/pallets to ensure safety and minimize impact during transportation
- Develop standard packaging specifications for each product line
- Optimize costs and logistics efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Design, Assembly/Production, QA/QC, and Warehouse/Logistics
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field
- At least 2 years of experience in packaging design, including carton boxes, pallets, wooden crates, steel frames, PE packaging, vacuum packaging, and moisture-resistant packaging
- Experience in designing auxiliary packaging materials such as support trays, packaging jigs, spacers, and foam (EPE, EPS, etc.)
- Good at English
