Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Facility Supervisor ($1400, ID 16935):
- Supervise and take full responsibility for the operation and management of all aspects of the Facility Management team.
- Monitor and ensure the smooth operation of all technical systems within the office building.
- Establish and enforce departmental operation procedures and performance standards.
- Develop and implement emergency procedures (e.g., quarterly fire training exercises, fire evacuation drills) in coordination with the Property Manager.
- Collaborate with the project team during facility handovers and ensure the rectification of any defects.
- Oversee all repair, renovation, maintenance, and fit-out works in the building.
- Develop, implement, and manage short, medium, and long-term maintenance plans for all technical equipment to ensure maintenance requirements for all systems are met.
- Negotiate and secure preventive maintenance contracts for essential equipment and systems.
- Supervise maintenance personnel closely, assigning tasks and responsibilities as needed.
- Maximize the effectiveness of engineering staff by fostering skill development through training, coaching, and mentoring.
- Recommend and implement energy-saving programs to improve efficiency.
- Conduct bi-monthly inspections of the building, focusing on life safety features and the condition of all operational equipment and systems.
- Monitor and control utility consumption and energy efficiency of all systems and equipment, ensuring optimal energy usage across all departments.
- Review and approve all invoices and purchase requests related to technical services, installations, machinery, parts, and equipment.
- Liaise effectively with suppliers, contractors, and relevant authorities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Property Manager.
Requirement
- Male, Under 45 years old.
- Bachelor's or Diploma in Engineering (M&E)
- Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience in facility management, ideally in an office building or shopping mall.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Extensive knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems and building structures.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and management skills.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
