Job Description

Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for Factory Manager (Sweater, Garment, ID20067, 3000 USD):
  • Production Planning & Efficiency: Oversee the end-to-end manufacturing process (Raw materials to Shipping). Optimize machine utilization (Stoll/Cxing), manage gauges (3G–20G), and improve OEE while reducing changeover times.

  • Technical Oversight: Supervise knitting (seamless/panel), linking, washing (anti-shrinkage), ironing, and packaging. Manage diverse yarn inventories (Cotton, Wool, Recycled, etc.).

  • Quality & Compliance: Implement AQL standards, conduct root-cause analysis for defects (pilling, shrinkage), and ensure 100% compliance with size, weight, and labeling specs.

  • Operations & Cost Control: Manage CM costs, minimize yarn waste, and optimize utility consumption. Monitor WIP and ensure On-Time Delivery (OTD).

  • Leadership: Directly lead department managers (IE, QC, Maintenance, etc.). Handle manpower planning, training, and labor discipline.

  • Reporting: Deliver daily reports on output, efficiency, and downtime; collaborate with IE for SMV and line balancing.

Requirement

  • Education: University Degree in Garment Technology, Textile Engineering, or related fields.

  • Experience: 5–10 years in sweater manufacturing, with at least 3+ years in a management/supervisory role.

  • Technical Skills: Deep expertise in flat knitting (Stoll/Shima Seiki), linking, and finishing processes.

  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, data-driven decision-making, and interdepartmental coordination.

  • Language: Proficiency in English (technical reading, reporting, and basic communication).
