Financial Control & Compliance
- Build, manage, and continuously improve the accounting control framework to ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and Vietnamese regulatory requirements.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and complete financial, statutory, management, and internal control reporting.
- Maintain strong governance over inventory accounting, cost of goods sold (COGS), and manufacturing costing processes.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate financial, tax, compliance, and cash flow risks.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process for the plant.
- Manage and monitor cash flow and working capital to optimize financial efficiency.
- Analyze financial variances and provide insightful recommendations to improve operational performance and productivity.
- Drive cost control initiatives across production and operational functions.
- Act as the strategic finance partner to the Plant Manager to support operational and business objectives.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Logistics, Production, and other departments to ensure accurate costing, inventory control, and operational efficiency.
- Provide financial analysis and guidance on new investments, operational initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
- Serve as the primary finance contact for external auditors, tax authorities, and consulting firms.
- Coordinate with tax consulting agencies on business transactions, contracts, VAT matters, and operational compliance.
- Support EY and relevant stakeholders in preparing Corporate Income Tax (CIT) returns and Transfer Pricing documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Vietnam Corporate Income Tax and Transfer Pricing regulations.
- Work closely with ERP and system partners (including SAP) to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
- Review and enhance accounting procedures and operational workflows with appropriate internal controls.
- Support banking relationships and financial setup for new plants, expansions, or investment projects in compliance with group policies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Accounting team (approx. 7 members).
- Establish clear processes, policies, and training programs for the finance team.
- Promote a culture of compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure team members follow company policies and financial procedures.
- Provide financial expertise and support to other departments when required.
- Prepare additional reports and analysis as requested by senior finance leadership.
Requirement
- Male/Female, under 50 years old
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in finance/accounting roles such as: Chief Accountant/Finance Manager/Plant Controller/Senior Finance Leader
- Experience in manufacturing companies or multinational organizations (FDI) is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with SAP (FICO and MM modules).
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills.
- Fluent in English (for reporting and communication with global teams).
