Job Description

- Establish and maintain Standard Minute Values for all garment styles and operations.
- Conduct method studies, time studies, and work measurement to improve efficiency.
- Enhance line balancing, production capacity planning, and workforce allocation.
- Define and monitor labor productivity targets such as Standard Allowed Hours, efficiency levels, and units per hour.
- Support the introduction of new styles, pilot runs, and production ramp-ups.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective measures to increase throughput.
- Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and Standard Work.
- Drive waste reduction across motion, waiting time, overproduction, rework, and excess inventory.
- Execute continuous improvement projects with measurable gains in cost savings and productivity.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through training, coaching, and employee engagement.
- Facilitate cross-functional problem solving using Plan-Do-Check-Act cycles and root cause analysis.
- Develop and track key performance indicators such as efficiency, Standard Minute Values, cost per piece, lead time, and defect rates.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for management.
- Use production data to support fact-based decision making.
- Contribute to digitalization initiatives such as Manufacturing Execution Systems, industrial engineering software, and performance dashboards.
- Build industrial engineering capability across sewing, cutting, and finishing departments.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Planning, Human Resources, and Technical teams.
- Support operator skill development and promote multi-skilling programs
Requirement
- Male, 39-50 years old
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Apparel Engineering, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of experience in garment manufacturing and industrial engineering, including 2–5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of sewing operations, garment construction, and production workflows.
- Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
- Advanced expertise in time and motion study and line balancing.
