Import Export & Customs Specialist (Manufacturing)

Our client is a foreign invested company, now looking for an Import Export & Customs Specialist (Manufacturing, $1030, ID21170)

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and environmental regulations. Adhere to workplace Health & Safety policies and all applicable instructions and guidelines.
Ensure all import and export procedures comply with Customs, CIQ, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
Ensure import/export shipments are completed accurately and within the required timeline.
Prepare and maintain import/export documentation to support daily shipping operations.
Coordinate customs clearance activities and documentation transfer. Liaise with agents and logistics providers to arrange cargo transportation.
Communicate and coordinate internally regarding import/export matters and operational issues.
Complete and maintain all required import/export documentation and records.
Manage customs handbooks and related records, including registration, amendment, updating, and reconciliation.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Import/Export Manager.
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction activities.
Participate in AQP meetings and support related activities.
Support and comply with the Company’s Quality Management System.

Male/Female, under 40 years old.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position within manufacturing companies, preferably in the automotive or automation industry.
At least 3 years of experience in customs clearance, with strong knowledge of import/export procedures and experience working with customs inspections and authorities.
Experienced in preparing and handling customs finalization reports.
Fluent English communication skills in all four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
