Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Pricing Staff (Logistics, $1300, ID20118)
- Coordinate and obtain freight quotations from shipping lines and logistics service providers, including Ocean Freight, Air Freight, LCL services, Warehousing, Customs Brokerage, and Trucking vendors.
- Collect, analyze, and maintain market freight rates for the US, Canada, and other trade lanes such as Europe, South America, and Asia to support pricing competitiveness and business decisions.
- Monitor and manage booking space allocation, while proactively resolving issues related to freight costs, container availability, and contractual terms and conditions.
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly market reports, rate analysis, and sales inquiry updates during internal meetings.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with shipping lines’ marketing and commercial teams to strengthen collaboration and enhance business opportunities.
Requirement
- Male/Female, under 45 years old.
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Pricing Executive position handling US trade lanes within Freight Forwarding companies or Shipping Lines.
- Strong knowledge of ocean freight pricing, shipping market trends, and logistics operations for the US market.
- Proficient in English communication, both written and spoken.
