Job Description

1. Procurement Operations

  • Manage the consolidation and review of purchase requisitions from all departments and manufacturing sites.

  • Verify stock availability in SAP and coordinate with Maintenance and Warehouse teams.

  • Facilitate the approval process for new purchase requests in alignment with factory management.

  • Approve and supervise Purchase Order (PO) creation in SAP.

  • Work closely with suppliers to confirm specifications, lead times, and delivery schedules.

  • Ensure all procurement documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-compliant.

2. Supplier Management & Negotiation

  • Identify, assess, and qualify suitable suppliers for machinery and spare parts.

  • Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and service agreements to achieve optimal cost and quality outcomes.

  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance in areas such as quality, delivery, and service responsiveness.

  • Resolve any delivery or quality disputes in collaboration with Quality Assurance and technical teams.

3. Inventory Management

  • Ensure accurate recording of goods receipts (GR) and inventory updates in SAP.

  • Manage the return or replacement process for defective or non-conforming items.

  • Support inventory balancing and participate in periodic stock audits.

4. Reporting & Budget Control

  • Track and report on procurement KPIs, such as lead times, cost savings, and delivery reliability.

  • Analyze market trends and pricing to identify and recommend cost-saving initiatives.

  • Coordinate with the Finance team on payment schedules and procurement budget planning.

  • Provide regular updates to senior management regarding procurement status, risks, and action plans.

5. Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and manage the purchasing team, setting clear goals and assigning responsibilities.

  • Monitor team performance to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with processes.

  • Develop and improve internal procurement procedures and systems.

  • Serve as the escalation point for critical supplier issues or procurement bottlenecks.

Requirement

  • Gender: Male/female, Age: Under 40 years old
  • Graduated from Mechanical Engineering University
  • Have 5 years of experience in purchasing machinery and spare parts for garment, footwear, furniture and mechanical factories
  • Good at English
  • Using SAP software
