Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Product Engineering Manager (Electronics, $1200, ID 19867):
- Review and analyze technical drawings and customer/R&D requirements; develop product specifications, BOM, and assembly processes.
- Ensure product manufacturability (DFM) and support design optimization for cost and production efficiency.
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) from prototype to mass production, coordinating with Production, QC, and Purchasing teams.
- Manage engineering changes (ECN/ECO), ensuring timely updates of technical documents and assessing impact on production and quality.
- Troubleshoot product-related technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and propose design improvements.
- Lead and develop the product engineering team, including task assignment, performance evaluation, and capability building.
- Prepare technical reports, monitor NPI progress, and collaborate with customers/partners on technical matters.
- Participate in technical audits and product evaluations when required.
Requirement
- Male/Female, under 40 years old.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Engineering management, including at least 3 years working with OIS products (mandatory).
- Good at English reporting; Korean or English communication is a plus.
- Strong leadership and team management skills
