Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested manufacturing company, now looking for a Purchasing Leader (Electronics, $950, ID21234)
- Manage and oversee all SCM functions, including Procurement, Materials Planning, Inventory Control, and Outsourcing Management.
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the SCM team to ensure smooth operations and timely material supply.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors on pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and quality issues.
- Source and develop qualified suppliers to achieve cost reduction and supply chain efficiency.
- Coordinate with QC and suppliers to resolve material quality issues and ensure compliance documentation requirements.
- Work closely with the Import & Export team and headquarters to arrange material imports and resolve logistics-related issues.
- Review customer forecasts and delivery orders, monitor material availability, and manage purchasing activities to support production plans.
- Support new product/sample projects through material planning, procurement, and delivery tracking.
- Manage purchasing budgets, accounts payable, and supplier payment coordination.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, prepare monthly inventory reports, and develop annual purchasing plans.
- Provide procurement and inventory data to support accounting, customs, and annual audit requirements.
Requirement
- Male/Female, preferably aged between 30 and 40.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position within manufacturing companies, preferably in the electronics, garment, or footwear industries.
- Proficient in either English or Korean.
- Strong accounting knowledge with the ability to analyze financial data and understand tax implications related to procurement and purchasing activities.
