Job Description

Our client is a foreign-invested company currently recruiting for the position of Purchasing Manager (Chemical/ Technical, $1900, ID19784)
1. Procurement & Purchasing Operations
  • Issue and manage Purchase Orders (POs) for spare parts, equipment, tools, facilities, and laboratory chemicals.
  • Maintain accurate and updated PO records and procurement documentation.
  • Collect supplier quotations, conduct price comparisons, and select the most suitable vendors.
  • Monitor purchasing activities to ensure smooth execution and on-time completion.
  • Supervise and update price lists, vendor lists, and related tax documentation.
2. Supplier & Contract Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Develop and expand vendor channels to ensure stable and competitive supply sources.
  • Select reliable forwarding agents and ensure high-quality logistics services.
  • Prepare and manage sales contracts between the company and customers.
  • Control and monitor the approved vendor audit schedule.
3. Import/Export & Logistics Coordination
  • Implement and supervise import/export procedures for spare parts and equipment in compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules to meet project and operational requirements.
  • Ensure all deliveries are on time and free from damage, shortages, or incorrect supply.
4. Inventory & Warehouse Management
  • Supervise warehouse inventory and ensure stock accuracy.
  • Ensure proper storage, arrangement, and control of materials and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.

Requirement

  • Male, under 50 years old
  • Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade, Science, or Technology
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, with expertise in purchasing chemicals, equipment, and technical goods
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong English communication skills
