We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Recruitment Intern to support our team at HRchannels Headhunter. This internship is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the recruitment industry. You will assist with sourcing, screening, database management, and administrative recruitment tasks, while gaining insight into agency-based hiring across different industries and job levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist consultants in posting job ads on job boards and social media platforms
- Source and screen candidate resumes based on specific job descriptions
- Upload candidate CVs and relevant information into the recruitment database or Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Maintain and update candidate records with status changes
- Communicate with candidates regarding interview schedules, job details, and application updates
- Conduct preliminary phone screenings, where appropriate, under supervision
- Support the recruitment team with administrative tasks and weekly reports
- Assist in building and maintaining a talent pipeline for ongoing client requirements
Requirement
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field
- Interest in recruitment, or human resources industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with LinkedIn or online job portals is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Real-world exposure to agency-based recruitment across multiple industries
- Practical experience using recruitment tools and software
- Insights into client management and candidate engagement strategies
- Professional development through on-the-job training and mentorship
- A strong foundation for a career in recruitment, HR, or talent acquisition
