Job Description

We're hiring a (Senior) Manager, Campus Facilities & Services
Reporting to the COO, the Senior Manager of Campus Facilities & Services oversees campus infrastructure, technical operations, and outsourced services. Responsibilites:

1. Facility & Infrastructure Management
  • Oversee daily system operations, periodical maintenance, and fault identification, verification, and resolution.
  • Ensure the effective and efficient operation of building systems, with a focus on energy conservation and environmental sustainability.
  • Develop and implement safety plans and operational policies related to outsourced services.
  • Manage and oversee the transition of the campus site from construction to operations, including defect liability period (DLP) management.
2. Vendor & Service Coordination
  • Assist the COO in managing and coordinating with operational vendors and construction contractors.
  • Communicate policies and procedures to vendors, address concerns, and provide training and performance evaluation.
  • Manage and develop campus services to support daily operational activities.
3. Budgeting & Cost Efficiency
  • Support the COO in developing and monitoring departmental budgets with a proactive approach to cost efficiency.
  • Recommend equipment purchases and long-term maintenance capital planning.
4. Maintenance & Quality Assurance
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs and oversee emergency repair activities based on priority.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure maintenance aligns with operational standards.
  • Maintain a quality assurance program for all campus facilities.
5. Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, fire prevention regulations, and emergency procedures.
  • Lead initiatives on safety, pollution control, disaster response, and civil defense.
  • Promote a culture of safety and ensure all equipment conforms to safety regulations.
6. Policy Development & Strategic Planning
  • Provide recommendations to the COO for the development of campus policies and procedures.
  • Plan and schedule departmental services, emphasizing efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement inventory management procedures for assets and equipment.
7. Leadership & Communication
  • Set and maintain a professional working environment, ensuring clear communication internally and externally.
  • Establish performance goals for outsourced teams and self.
  • Foster a “can do, will do” attitude in the workplace.

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, MEP, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in building operations, maintenance, team management, and contract management.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, AutoCAD, and building automation systems.
  • Knowledge of energy conservation principles; formal training is a plus.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and customer service orientation.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and result-driven with a "can-do" attitude.
