Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer ($900, ID 16660).
- Perform supplier quality management activities for supplied products and address supplier quality issues within the order fulfillment process at the plant.
- Support advanced quality planning with suppliers during the product development phase, focusing on cost efficiency and productivity.
- In serial production, conduct supplier evaluations, manage supplier process changes, and initiate and coordinate corrective actions to ensure long-term adherence to agreed-upon quality standards.
- Oversee the sampling inspection process and make decisions on the acceptance or rejection of provided samples.
- Manage claim resolution in serial production for parts and act as an escalation point to ensure agreement on a corrective action plan until successful resolution.
- Provide training to suppliers to ensure compliance with APQP and PPAP requirements as agreed.
- Conduct quality inspections and lead continuous improvement activities in production for sub-lines (CNC, overmolding, printing).
- Develop part inspection standards and create measurement/inspection instructions.
Requirement
- Male/Female, 28-40 years old
- Graduated in electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering
- At least 5 years of supplier quality engineering experience or quality assurance
- Good at English
